How I Shaped The Product

I led design and discovery for growth projects, designed and iterated on our payment experiences, and oversaw design for the money movement squad. I occasionally worked with engineers to pair-code quick wins that didn’t need to go on the roadmap, and provided engineering feedback directly via GitHub. I ran company-wide research to internally test new designs, as well as research with external users.

Impact

When I joined ChipperCash, S2NC was launched in one country. I led design for expansion initiatives that took it to over 10 countries, with over $7.5M generated in Total Processed Volume in half a year post-launch.

Pioneered conversations with external payment providers like ClickSendNow, Visa, Stitch, and Plaid to explore how they could integrate seamlessly within our payment flow, and designed to fit both products.

Worked on a fix that took just two hours but reduced weekly user complaints by 96.25%. Built new components for our design system and a culture of compliance and design collaboration, amongst other contributions. ChipperCash later raised $100M in Series C funding. I also won 🏆 Employee of the Year 2022.
